I have white jacket with torn shell but the inside has this very cute star print. I couldn’t get rid of it and decided to make a long sleeve top for my 3 year old。我有一個白色外套，外面已經是傷痕累累，但是裡面有著非常可愛的星星內裡。我捨不得丟掉於是想把它做成上衣給我的三歲女兒。

Preparing the star pattern lining for fabric — 2. The project is using the lining. 我們將要用內裡來做上衣.

I only need the star lining — 3. Take it apart. 把需要用的布料剪下來.

marking the basic tee pieces — 4. Mark the pattern on the fabric. 在布料上面畫上樣板.

the fabric was in pieces so it needed to be joint together to form a big pice of fabric — 5. I put together the fabric from small pieces to create the back of the bodice. 我用小塊的布拼湊起來做為上衣的後半部.

The pieces of front and back are cut and ready to assemble — 6. The front and back bodice. 前與後的上衣.

use pattern to cut the sleeves — 7. Mark the sleeve. 將袖子剪好.

I took the binding from another old tee. — 8. Pin the neck area. 將領口固定.

getting ready to sew the neckline — 9. The wrong side of the collar. 領口的反面.

I used serger for the neckline — 10. The finised collar. 完成的領口.

the sleeve is pinned with the body piece — 11. Pin the sleeve. 固定住袖口.

sleeve and body pieces are combined with serger. — 12. The finised sleeve. 袖子完成樣.

the underarm is the next step. Align sleeves and body pieces opening and pin together. — 13. Pin the sleeve and side of the shirt for sewing. 固定住袖子下方和衣服的兩側.

Fold twice for the hem — 14. Pin the hem of the shirt. 固定衣服的下擺.
