My daughter had a hand-me-down Old Navy jeans. The waist was a good fit but her thighs can not squeeze. The idea came to me and I decided this could be a nice flared skirt for her.
1. The second- hand Old Navy jeans. 
2. The length was decided. 
3. Ripped open the seam by the sides and measured the fabric for the flared sides. 
4. Sewed the sides. 
5. Both sides were sewed. 
6. Trimmed the extra fabric and came the prototype. 
7. Now it was time for the front and back pieces. I cut the rest of the jeans into triangles. 
8. Used a decorative stitch and sewed the pieces together. 
9. The front with the piece. 
10. The back with the piece. 
11. Finished the sides with decorative stitches. 
12. It’s done! 
13. The back looked good, too!
