我一直想要改造我的客廳，但是怎麼改造老是定不下來。有一天看到Hygge and West的壁紙給了我滿滿的啟發，想要做一面背景牆。他們的壁紙真美，我就挑了三個款式一個給我的房間一個給客廳一個給我的女兒房間。貼壁紙真是一件繁瑣的工作，但是完成以後好有成就感喔！

I have been wanting to have a makeover for my living room but the idea can not be settled down until I saw Hygge and West’s wallpaper. I was inspired by their super adorable wallpapers for an accent wall. Therefore, I purchased three styles for my living room, my bedroom and my kid’s bedroom. Installing wallpaper on an accent wall is a big job but you could accomplish something big. It is very rewarding.

貼壁紙的第一個步驟要確定牆壁是平滑的 Wallpaper 101 make sure the wall is smooth

在牆上畫上一條距離左邊牆壁24英吋垂直的直線 Draw a vertical line 24 inches away from the left side wall

我在貼壁紙前有大概安排一下併排壁紙怎麼安置 Before sticking wallpaper on the wall I arrange how to put wallpaper side by side

量牆壁的高度再去切割所需的壁紙 Measure the height of the wall and cut the wallpaper

我預留上下多兩英吋的空間 Leave two inches buffer on top and bottom of the wallpaper

等牆壁準備好了把壁紙用的膠水均勻塗在壁紙的背面再將壁紙對折 Once the wall has been prepped roll the wallpaper glue on to the wallpaper Fold the wallpaper in half

等個五到七分鐘這樣可以避免壁紙捲起來並起讓壁紙有充足的時間吸收膠水 Wait for 5 to 7 minutes so the wallpapers edges wont curl up and the wallpaper has enough time to absorb the glue

將壁紙貼到牆壁上小心地調整位置將壁紙稍微用刮板平整一下切掉多餘的壁紙 Carefully stick the wallpaper onto the wall Adjusting the position and use smoother to smooth the surface Cut the extra wallpaper

接著就是最重要的步驟由中間開始往外輕輕地刮平壁紙把形成的泡泡由中央向外刮平 Use the wallpaper smoother gently scrape the wallpaper onto the wall.

準備一個大泡棉沾水擰乾輕輕擦拭壁紙 Use a big sponge soak it in the water and squeeze the excess water Gently apply the sponge to smooth and clean wallpaper.

接下來的幾個壁紙都是一樣的步驟，一直到整面牆都鋪滿了壁紙 Use the same steps for the following stripes of wallpaper

貼上第二面壁紙 Apply the second stripe of wallpaper

貼上第三面壁紙 Apply the third stripe of wallpaper

貼上第四面壁紙 Apply the forth stripe of wallpaper

平整壁紙 Smooth the wallpaper

在插座蓋貼上壁紙 Apply wallpaper on outlet cover

在插座保護蓋貼上壁紙 Apply wallpaper on outlet safety cover

在走線槽也貼上壁紙 Apply wallpaper on wire channel.
